Lieux rares
A cove reached only on foot, a cellar opened for the owner’s guests, a viewpoint without a sign.
Les Confidences
A rare place or moment an owner shares with guests they have approved. The word comes from the Latin confidere, to trust fully: owners entrust their house, guests are trusted, and a confidence changes hands.

A cove reached only on foot, a cellar opened for the owner’s guests, a viewpoint without a sign.
The market before eight, the jetty at the last light, the path while the sea is still flat.
The fisherman, the potter, the winemaker the owner knows by name.
Illustrative examples. No partner has been approached for this first version.

The rules
If a cellar takes six guests a season, it takes six.
The fisherman’s table stays his. We bring the guest he agreed to meet.
By the owner who gives it, and it appears in their Season Letter.
Confidences are given inside the stay, never published.
Brigitte offers two, each with its reason, when the moment is right.
If a partner ever pays, the guest is told.
